Butt Welders

The Butt Welders manufactured by Westken come in two basic formats, the 35kva Butt Welder uses 80mmdia air cylinders for clamping and 63mm air cylinder for upsetting pressure, the transformer is water cooled. This machine can weld products from 3mm diameter to 12mm diameter mild steel rods. The larger machine is a 75/100kva flash Butt Welder using 125mm air cylinder for clamping and a 160mm air over oil hydraulic intensifier system for upsetting pressure. This machine is generally used for window frame welding though other layouts can be designed and incorporated.
